Problems with MobileMe

I have 10.4.11...

And I'm trying to set up my Mail app with my MM account.

I can't send messages, but I can receive them. I've done the tutorial on the apple website.

This is what I have as my settings... I edited my username and name out.

Try changing the port in server settings to 587. That's what worked for me with that problem in Thunderbird in Windoze.
