Problems with MPEG Streamclip and Quicktime

I have Quicktime X installed. I own a Pro serial number but can't figure out how to "upgrade" it.

I also have Apple Quicktime MPEG-2 upgrade. I installed it but MPEG Streamclip doesn't see it.

Any ideas?

QuickTime Pro only works with QuickTime 7 (located in the Utilities folder) and not with QT X.

Is the MPEG-2 component inside the Library / QuickTime folder? What kind of MPEG-2 material do you want to open in MPEG Streamclip?
