Problems with numbers and pages syncing.

Hi

Can't seem to work this out but recently my numbers and pages apps won't sync. I have made a few edits on the iPad and I get the 'upload' arrow in the top right corner of each document but it dosnt seem to upload. When I open the iPhone app i don't get the updated documents and just get the bar trying to load the update on one of the files (hope that makes sense).

I am running iOS 5.1 with the most up to date apps on iphone4 and ipad1. I have a feeling this problem is since 5.1 update but not sure.

Anyone have any ideas?

In addition when I log onto iCloud on my computer and go to the iWork section I get a screen saying that I have no spreadsheets and instructing me to launch numbers on my iOS device and turn on iCloud-but I thought I already had? Can't find anything in the app to turn iCloud on?
