I have been trying to get the pictures from my Photo Stream on my iPhone onto my MacBook Pro. I connected them via iCloud and only some of the pictures uploaded into my Photo Stream on iPhoto. I have 949 pictures on the Photo Stream on my iPhone 4 and only 278 on my MacBook. All the pictures seem to be random, some of them are from all the way back to when I first got my iPhone, and the others are just random. I even tried creating another Photo Stream that I can access online, but it only showed 25 of the pictures. I want to get all of my pictures onto my laptop so that I can free up more space on my Photo Stream so that I don't loose some when I reach the limit (1,000). Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you.

It might be your wifi. With that many pictures (at once), you should use the cable to transfer them.

I understand that it is a lot at once, but wouldn't it upload more over time? I have had my computer and phone under the same wifi for weeks and the pictures have not synced.

I have exactly the same problem, 2 days ago I took 30 new photos and only 24 of them are on my Photo Stream and therefore only those 24 are on my Mac in iPhoto, no wifi problem whatsoever.

It is a mac, and I have pictures on my photostream (on my iPhone and a few on my mac) from over a year ago. So, there is no way that it is only stored for 30 days. I just don't know how to get them onto my laptop! ):

Probably a dumb question: Are the photos still on your iPhone? If so you probably know what to do. :) If not you can save the photos from Photo Stream into a new Album on the iPhone and transfer them out.
