I have Springflash installed, don't really use it much but want to keep it installed for the rare cases that I need it. Ever since I updated my ip4 to 5.1.1 and jb via absinthe, a double press of the power button activates springflash. I understand that this is the default behavior; however, I was able to disable that before and now I can't. I checked activator and I do not have springflash set to launch upon a double press of the power button. I prefer to launch Springflash only via the SBSettings toggle so is there any other way for me to disable the double press of the power button?

You mean sleep button? Under Activator you have to go down to sleep button, then hit double press and make sure SpringFlash doesn't have a check next to it?

OMG - I'm such an idiot. I did mean power/sleep button but I just realized that I was checking under the "Home" button settings in activator rather than the sleep button settings. Brain fart! Sorry!

No problem! I had it set to do the sleep button too but kept getting pissed because I tap the sleep button a lot to check what time it is and I was accidentally turning the light on. I changed it to a triple press of the home button so that I can turn it on without having to go to any settings if needed.

I actually like the idea of having it mapped to the sleep button, but I had an issue on an airplane once where I must have accidentally activated it while my phone was in my pocket. The flash was activated for the entire flight without me realizing it and when I pulled my phone out of my pocket when we landed, the phone was really hot and my battery had drained a ton. After that I decided to just use the SBSettings toggle, because it's almost impossible to activate it accidentally. Maybe I'll see if there's another way to map it that's more convenient. Even a triple press of the home button is a little too risky for me.

I feel like the fact that it has to be a fairly quick triple press means it would be hard to activate accidentally in a pocket. I like being able to turn it on without playing with settings incase I'm in a dark area and need it quickly. Doesn't happen much but I occasionally drop my keys in a movie theater!
