problems with synchronizing my music on Iphone to my Vista computer

I bought my Iphone about 3 weeks ago.
during this time I bought a lot of music on my Iphone, but I can't transfer it to my computer.
When i try to do it manually by clicking on "transfer purchases" it starts for a split second, but it stops immediately!

Help please!!

Have you authorized your computer?

Have you signed in with your iTunes account that you DLed the music?
