I'm having a serious issue . My mother bought my son a tablet for Christmas and it is only works with wifi protocol b/g. And I'm not able to get it to connect to my iPhone 4 but the tablet connects to other hotspots ex Motorola droid x . Is my phones hotspot protocol n??! Someone please help I called my text support and they are clueless

Your hotspot should be a/b/g/n. Are you able to connect anything else to your iPhone? I assume this service has been activated through your carrier already.

Yes it's activated through Verizon . I have hooked up iPods and my hp laptop. I can't connect it to my wii or to two different tablets . I worked at Verizon for some time now so I know how to connect it just isnt showing up visible to diff devices or than those mentioned

It's limited to 3 WiFi devices, so if those iPods and laptop are connected you won't be able to add other items via WiFi (you can do 3 WiFi, one Bluetooth, and one USB).
