Ok, so I just recently purchased a Sceptre X20G-NagaIII 20" display, which I have connected to my Mac mini (G4).
Currently, I have the refresh rate set at 60 hertz (required by the display) and at 1680 x 1050 resolution, the VGA input works fine. But I have read on Apple's site that the Mac mini can support resolutions up to 1920 x 1080, which my display can also support (there was a big 'ol sticker on it stating that when I first got it).
I was hoping to use 1920 x 1080, but when I switch to it under System Preferences, the screen is fuzzy and "Out of Range" flashes across the screen (the monitor produces this message, not the Mac).
When I went to Sceptre's web site, I found that it only gave support tips for Windows XP machines, and none of their drivers are for Macs either. 😡
Does anybody know of something that might help me?
Thanks.
Edit: Figured out reason for my first problem, but I've got a new one now.
