My processes cpu is all being used up by mdworker, is this a mac application or something bad i have stopped it twice but it just keeps coming back.



Also my itunes is unusually high, and fluctuates between 15 and 100. How much cpu does the computer usually have i thought it was 100 but obviously not. as i almost reached 200 at some point. i have a 2.8Ghz Silver iMac

I'm going to make mention that searching for "What is mdworker?" would have been a good idea.

iTunes uses a lot of CPU time when downloading, playing back video, or when using a visualization. What are you doing when iTunes is using so much CPU?
