Hey everyone!
I have recently ordered a new Macbook Pro Retina display from the Apple Store and I also got a special price because i'm a student.
I got some good news in an email saying that it would ship earlier than expected but it still says "Processing items" on my account and i'm worried because they have not asked me for any proof that i'm a student... Is this normal? Should I just leave it? I just don't want any problems later on and have to wait for approval or anything.
Thanks for any answers
And sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in!

Thanks for the quick answer!
But do you find it normal that no proof that i'm actually a student is needed?

Yes thats normal, sometimes if you buy it in an Apple retail store, they may ask you for a student ID. Not online tho.

May I ask when you placed your order and what setup?

We want to know when you ordered and what which model it was so that we may more accurately gauge how quickly Apple seems to be working its way through the orders. It seems some models are much more in demand than others so shipping times vary greatly because of this.

It is also possible, though not proven, that whether it's an Education/Business store order rather than a regular order makes a difference in the amount of time it takes for order to go to shipping.

Same here. On the 13th, I ordered two rMBPs (2.6/16/512) via EDU and no notifications/updates yet.
