Is this how different type processors work?

i personally dont know the answer, but it might help if you put something other than just wondering on the title.

P4, one processor
P4HT, two processors in one unit
CD, two separate processor.
No, I don't think so, I think P4HT is still one processor, just that some work can be done simultaneously to utilize CPU's "spare space", other time, its no difference from P4.
Correct me if Im wrong.
PS< check wikipedia if u want.
 
What I mean, is isn't HT 2 virtual processors in one die?

And Core Duo 2 different dies on one processor?
