Usually they don't, but I would say this time of year would be an exception.Since Apple doesn't ship on weekends, it may change to Preparing for Shipment between now and Monday. If it transitions before Monday, it should ship in 24 hours.

People are already getting their phones assigned to them on their support profile, so that leads me to believe they're already boxed up and waiting to be sent into UPS. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little jealous.Good point. I spoke with an Apple Specialist earlier today, and he wasnt sure when the phones will ship out. But who knows? They probably already have, and they probably won't let us know until Monday. My credit card was charged yesterday, and I was told the payment went through smoothly and usually they ship right after.We can only hope.

I order the silver 6s plus 128 Gb and it has not changedI am in the US, and this is the first time I have ever had an iPhone say, "preparing to ship" so early. I wonder if it strictly depends on the model you ordered if the phone is in the US already or not.
