Like the title says, how much does it really weigh on the Neo to have Apple Intelligence set up, not in active use? And then the follow up question of how much does it weigh on it when running Apple Intelligence features? I'm just curious of how such things might affect Neo usage in day to day life?

Apple Intelligence is set up on my Neo, but I use Google Gemini. Although Apple Intelligence is set up, my Neo runs pretty fast - I haven't had any problems. Maybe I should switch it off and see if my computer speeds up.

It should speed up a bit as your Neo can then use its 8 GB ram directly for other tasks, rather than reserving bandwidth for AI, which can then result in SSD swapping which in turn can cause lag if doing heavy work. Gemini uses minimal ram as most of the processing is done in the cloud.
