Resolved Procreate 5 no color?

Have had this app for ages, not used it since version 4 though.
I am sketching with a pencil, but no matter what I select in the color picker it is grey scale.......?
Have tried different brush types but no different.

I created the new document with a grey image which gave the document a grey profile.
I should have started a new document and imported the image into a layer....😛
