    Looks like the second model # has an nVidia GPU.

    But they both have to, they are the same generation and the GPU is built into the motherboard

    IIRC, the Xserve has a BTO option of a better GPU.

    that's the stock GPU for the xserve

    Wow.. I can't believe noone has answered this yet.

    There is NO difference between the two models aside from the fact that one is refurbished while the other is not!

    AFAIK, Apple refurbs have a serial # starting with RM.
