Iv just phoned Apple and iv been told my iBook has been despatched today from China, but i couldnt keep track with the guy he was speaking soo fast and he had an accent  .

Basically he said it goes through Holland and then comes to the UK. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me what follows after the product has been despatched.

I ordered an Ipod Mini with it..and he said they need to somehow collect the orders together before they can arrange for delivery at which point I was totally confused.

Please someone spare a minute and shed some light to my darkened ignorance

Thank You

He just meant they have despatched both orders together so you'll receive it as one delivery rather than two... not really that confusing?!!

My sister's iBook took a week to arrive from China - yes they ship via the Netherlands and sit there overnight before being transferred to the UK where they probably sit in another depot overnight before going out on the local delivery trucks. You should have been given an order tracking number but this might not display any info for a couple of days yet.

Try http://www.apecode.com

This site has always worked for me when tracking Apple orders. It can take a couple of days to show up from when Apple said they shipped it.

You may be able to get some info from the tracking page on the Apple website http://www.apple.com/ukstore

Apple usually use TNT to deliver in the UK, so you can also try to track it on http://www.tnt.co.uk

TNT is only for the second part of the delivery so it won't show up on there until your ibook has left Holland I think.

If you keep checking all of these you should get a good idea of where your iBook and iPod, and when it gets close you will be able to see when its likely to arrive at your house. Its usually comes to the UK overnight and will be delivered to you during the first day its in the country.

Good luck, I hope it arrives soon!
