I was installing some printer/drivers/software that I got with my new printer, a $99 HP, thats pretty much comes out free after the $99 main-in-rebate, and as it was installing towards the middle, it asked for my password. I have my mac setup to ask me for my password anytime a program is setup, and for some reason I didnt think and just keyed in my password. I glanced over to the name which is normally on top of the password, and it didn't have my name, it had something else. Maybe I'm just petro, but is there anyway to check on a mac recently installed programs, or anything that i recently approved with my password? The software was from the hp site, but I'm just curious...

Well, After hours and hours I finally found where you can find a log of installed components. Its under CONSOLE, for future reference to my fellow MR'ers. Shows it down to the exact second. In the install.log
