Hi,

Does anyone know of a program that I can use to test the speed of my internal network? A Windows program would be preferable as I am trying to see how much throughput I am getting from my MacBook Pro running Vista over my 802.11n AEBS to my Dell PC running Windows XP Home.

download the demo and see if you can run the network benchmark. If not, for $25, its probably not a bad piece of software to own.

Also, try SiSoft Sandra and see if it offers a network benchmark. I haven't used it in years, but I believe it does. Unfortunately, there aren't many available for free for Windows

If *NIX is ok, try IPERF. You can also do it manually with pings of specific sizes.
