Over the years i have saved a vast majority of gif's. When i moved from my PC to my mac, i noticed that i could no longer see my gif's move. They were still and i would have to press down quickly to see the action. The way it use to be was i would click the gif and see it move in a loop. Is there a program or something that would let me view them as they were made?

what's your favorite browser? just drag the gif onto say, safari's dock icon. or when in safari do cmd+o and find the file 😛

Preview (a frequent default viewer) will display animation.
you go into "View" then "customize toolbar" and drag in the "play" button. The "play" option will then remain there when preview opens forevermore, or until you customize again.
