Programming on base M2 MacBook Air

Hi everyone! I’m a Data Scientist and in my free time I usually program in python, testing neural networks and machine learning algorithms (no gpu expansive). Has anyone tried the new M2 MacBook Air for programming tasks? How is it? my only concern regards the 8GB RAM, I feel it could be a problem in the next 2-3 years
