Programs bounce on the dock, but close after a few seconds....

This has happened with a few programs, but the one I am trying to run now is Bit Torrent.

It will bounce on the dock and immediately close....

Any ideas?

When that's happened to me it's because the program isn't compatible with the OS.

If you 'get info' on an app, check that its compatible with your system.

It will say something like -
Kind: Application (Intel)

If you have a PPC machine, then it wont work.
