this is our junior prom, also 🙂
 
For me its been over 30 years since High School (Rutherford, NJ). I never went to my prom. I opted to spend my money on a trip to the UK for 2 weeks. Never regretted it. Didn't have a steady guy at that time anyway.
 
Love the sneaks. I went to my grade 11 prom (not really my prom but I was invited so I went) and then for grade 12 I did a youth exchange to the arctic circle. I figured I went once so I was good. The trip was amazing by the way, 2nd closest town to the north pole
 
LMAO. I hear what you guys are saying about the shoes.. they're a tad bulky.
But I don't really like dress shoes, anyways. They're ugly; I don't think he even had any.
And I didn't want to hear him whining all night about how he was uncomfortable.

At least he didn't wear his red and white checkered oldschool vans...
 
Got to love the 'Love Boat' background. Well, not really, what the heck kind of boat is that? You two look great.

It's actually my Year 11 prom in 50 minutes...



... but I'm not going. Nope.

The idea doesn't appeal to me. Plus they've got a disco and hog roast there, and being a vegetarian rocker, I don't really want to go 😛 Plus I don't like the idea of dressing up in a tuxedo and crap.

Ah well.

It's fun for those who enjoy it. I know it's a really big thing for a lot of people in America, but hey, I'm not American. 😛

I think I'll just spend my evening on Macrumors instead. Would be a lot more fun. (In my opinion)
 
I always wore chucks with my tux 😛

I didn't go to my senior year prom (went to sophomore and junior) too much drama, and just craziness. Plus dances at my school always sucked, no music i listen to and I always get kicked out.
 
This was my very first prom i am a freshman and my boy friend is a junior. We have been together for a wee bit more than two months. Twas a night to remember, cant wait till the next one, even though those things are so darn pricey at least my wallet has some time to bulk up before then.

I think they look fine. They make a statement, and they're comfortable for all that dancing. They are black and white to match the occasion, after all?
 
Didn't go to prom because thought it was overrated, no regrets tho. I think our prom was small and probably cheap anyways haha.
 
Didn't go to mine, the idea of turning up by myself when everyone else had a date does not appeal. I'm surprised at how all of the mac geeks get such hot dates for their prom!
 
you can't can't CAN'T wear trainers with a tux......that is just such bad taste, and to laugh in the face of your respective female dates who are wearing nice heels.....
anyway proms are lame, but at least match your dates in style! 😀

haha thanks. yea i believe that formal occasions require formal attire if you know what i mean. if there is one thing i miss about hs, its the formal dances. you cant really do them in/after college as far as i know......maybe jazz clubs? i dunno lol
