PROMISE Pegasus2 R4 for nMP

Just wondering has anyone out there got the PROMISE Pegasus2 R4 running in RAID 5 I was wondering what the read/write speeds are. I will be getting four 4TB drives.

I live in the UK and going on a work trip in a few weeks to New York so I was planning on picking up the diskless version (as you can't buy in uk) will it work fine just using a UK plug adapter? Also if you buy hardware in america and bring it back to the uk should I be paying different tax/vat.

Perhaps NYC stores carry them but the Austin TX stores do not and had never even heard of them until I showed them online. They also show a 1-2 month lead time if ordered.
