I’m curious whether the masses are referring to the ‘X’ series of phones as ‘Ten’ or ‘Ex’. Obviously, Apple has chosen the Roman numeral naming convention. Which makes an interesting point...
In Roman numerals ‘S’ means ‘half’. So now we have the ‘Ten Half’ and ‘Ten Half Max’.
Poor little [big] XR. It has no Roman numeral. But wait! An Apple executive recently said it was named the XR because he is a car enthusiast and it’s a naming scheme familiar to that industry. In that context it means ‘race’. So we have the ‘Ten Race’. Which is ironic. Because it’s the cheapest newly released phone.
How do you pronounce them?
