Hello all,
I purchased a macbook black from ebay in June 2008. It was brand new and sealed, never opened. TOTALLY brand new. The first time I turned it on, I did all the things you need to do to when first turn it on such as connect to the internet, and name your computer etc.
I've been reading up on applecare, and that I can still purchase an applecare service within the 1 year it was purchased. I know I purchased my blackbook in June. I looked through my ebay records and feedback, but I don't think it's enough proof to apple to show that my macbook is less than a year old in use.
Where can I go in my mac to see the first time my computer was booted up. Is there a log I can access to prove that it was first turned on and used in June? I'm sure I registered my blackbook, will apple have my info?
help.
