iPad Pro Proper Screen Support?

The new iPad Pro is truly impressive but something I didn’t understand in the keynote and the website is there real screen support now (and not just the 4:3 aspect ratio) or still same old and only video output for previewing on external screens?

It seems iPad OS and all the UI stuff will unfortunately still displayed in 4:3 format?

Not with regard to supporting full monitor display - that can all be done now without Thunderbolt.

I mean, maybe if your lucky you could play 8k video or something. But anything software related will still be the same (not full screen for non video etc)

It will require a change in iPadOS to bring in proper external display support; fingers crossed for iPadOS 15

Yeah, just have to get that $4000 8K monitor ...
