Pros and Cons of using Windows 7 on MBP?

@Munkery - I've tried both drivers.. the ATI ones don't seem to run Unity, so I stuck with the open source ones. My problem was that I have an intel 3000/ATI 6630m combo GPU, and the laptop defaults to using the 6630m, which distroys my battery life. There's something called Switcheroo, which I just discovered today, that allows me to set which card I'm using. But I still need to play with it.

And as for hackintoshing it, I'm still working on it

I believe the proprietary driver is required for better 3D compositing.

Install Ubuntu Control Center to get access to a GUI menu that allows switching between the GPUs.

If getting Unity to work with the driver you want is a problem, try using Unity 2D.
