OK, I do not know if I have this right- but here is what I am basing this on:

ATT does 3G on 2 channels (call them 1 & 2), and TMo does them on 2 DIFFERENT channels (call these 3 & 4). 1 and two are NOT 3 and 4.

Am I right so far?

So, will 3G just be set up on 1 & 2... or (for worldwide compat) will it be 1-4?

Just wondering if there is any need for us TMo customers to even CARE about 3G....

I don't think it matters what frequencies that T-Mobile US uses for 3G .. phone manufacturers will include it in their handsets.

As far as I know, there isn't a 3G T-Mobile in the US yet.

And when there is, it won't operate on the 1900 Mhz spectrum, so it won't work with the iPhone.

So unlocked T-Mobile users, there will be no 3G iPhone for you.
