protecting your mac from a virus

    any good antivirus protection software out there, that is either free or affordable?

    No need to do so... yet. Macs typically do not have viruses, although there is a trojan going around in the iWork 09 torrents.

    Viruses + Mac = ERROR FLAWED LOGIC

    Viruses don't exist for Macs don't exist, but trojans do. A trojan is installed when people download programs from shady sites (Torrents). If you're smart about what you download, there's no need to worry.

    OSX does a pretty good job in that department, compared to M$ XP!
