Even with a keyboard protector thingy I still have to pick out hair that still manages to get down into the crevasses of my powerbook keys.

I know this thread is about protecting ones MBP but I thought I might add a little about my powerbook.

I have a wrapsol on the top and bottom lid of my 13" macbook pro, a Moshi palmguard, iskin clear keyboard cover, and a speck satin case. I also use a speck tough pack sleeve that i slip the macbook into when traveling. All of this goes into a Northface backpack.I know it seems like overkill but i love to protect my things.

1. Incase Hardshell (Clear)
2. KB Covers Keyboard cover
3. Moshi Palm Guard
4. iKlear for the screen
5. State Farm Personal Articles Policy @ $3000
6. Applecare

After doing some research, this is what I want my rig to be.

See-Thru Satin Case by Speck
Caselogic Sleeve PAS-213 (even has an external pocket for power cord and USB drives)
GTMax Silicone Keyboard

Amazon has a bundle for less than $60. Pretty damn good if you ask me since altogether they cost up to $100 or more.

I am using a Timbuk2 bag like this one (in Grey)

I have a cheapie red keyboard cover ($4 on amazon). No skin yet. Have a DEVO laptop sleeve that is a bit too big, which then goes in a Manhattan Portage messenger bag with a padded laptop compartment.

I'm looking at some skins over at http://www.gelaskins.com
Or there is another copmany that makes skins that cover the inside as well as the lid.

I use a Speck See Thru Satin on my 17". I really like it, but if I was to get another one it would be clear, I think I would prefer the look of the glossy cover on the aluminum more.

I have my MBP in a clear Speck Shell...then I slip it into one of these nifty cheap sleeves I got off of Ebay...

I also keep a Moshi guard between the keyboard and the screen when closed.

Ended up getting the Moshi keyboard cover, as well. I had never had one because I thought it would reduce the tactile feel when typing on the keyboard, but this thing is amazing. I forgot it was on there.
