Protection for iPhone4

Who else thinks protection for iPhone 4 is needed?

1. I added the bumpers from the Apple store on 15th along with iPhone but it shipped yesterday, so still waiting for it. And if I understand right, it protects only the sides of the device.
2. I am contemplating buying Bodyguardz pack which has a front and back protective film. This will prevent the phone from scratch and obviously not from a drop and shatter case.

So, is the front of back protective screen really required?

I'd like to know what you guys think too.

So far its in a pouch , and thinkin to put on some front protection but dont wanna loose the beautiful retina screen by adding something on it

invisible shield front/back/sides (wrapsol in the mail, idk which one imma keep, maybe buy a PS for the front. idk yet)

I have the invisible shield by zagging front and back and my display looks amazing still and I went with bumper Also perfect protection for me
