Hello everyone

I'm buying my first Macbook , never had one , but had other laptops all laptops I had with the use I can see worn out marks at the hand rest, trackpad or keyboard.... how to avoid that on a macbook? a protection like those films you apply on the hand rest or trackpad is a good ideia? how necessary is to apply a protection and how durable is the macbook air?

Probably just dirty, nothing to worry about if you clean it once in a while

Silicone keyboard protector is recommended as the plastic keys get worn and leave a shiny appearance.

Palm rest areas can be protected from sweat with film stickers.

Those film sticker and keyboard protector can damage the screen? When closed?

I haven't read many complaining of the finish wearing off on the palm rest areas of these. Space grey ive seen a few, but they seem to be very few, most likely a defect rather than a normal wear and tear issue. I can't stand typing on silicon key overs myself, just a very different typing experience that I couldn't tolerate lol
