I had a similar case and the first 2 days were okay. After that I had dust and dirt stuck in the case.

Ugh I wish there was some way to avoid that. The case got great reviews. I need something for all around protection of the watch...

OP i have the same Julk case. i can tell you it's pretty difficult to get on and if you sweat a lot (i mean like for an extended amount of time thru exercise or something), then moisture gets trapped inside.

for the moisture issue, i find using the sport band with the bunch of holes helps.

i still keep using it tho because i do bang it around alot and everytime it gets bumped / nicked, i feel better about having the protection on.

Yeah I know...I want to protect my $400 watch because I work with kids and my arm is constant flinging around haha...I want the piece of mind that the watch is totally covered! I don’t like the idea of getting sweat under the screen protector though, as I often go for long runs. I guess I’ll just get used to taking the protector off and rinsing it out after a run. Is it easy to do that? I do have the Nike sports band with all the holes, so hopefully that helps my wrist not sweat as much...

Taking it off is relatively easy; putting it back on is the PITA ;)

If it does start collecting sweat, i would just dab the the sweat from the case with a paper towel or napkin instead of full on rinsing it. there's a layer on the underside that goes up against the watch screen that allows it to be touch sensitive and i'm not sure what the effect would be with repeated rinsing and wiping. i mostly use the black one and at one point it was no longer responsive to presses and swipes. i swapped it out with the spare clear one for about a week, didn't like the way it looked, and put the black one back on and it worked fine.

the...holy...band did help quite a bit. i switch out the regular rubber band with a knock off holy one and no longer got the sweat issue (~45-60mins of working out). thankfully it's still easy to switch the bands even with the case on.

Good...maybe I’ll be fine then using the Nike sport band with the case while working out. It was so hard to find a good case for the watch as compared to my iPhone haha...why can’t Otterbox or Speck make a case for the Apple Watch?

So this case came and so far I really like it! Doesn’t add much bulk at all and the screen is still very responsive. My only concern I noticed is that dust gets under the built in screen protector easily. Will that cause problems long term?

Yes would also like to know how it’s holding up so far and does dust get under at all?

So far it has been 8 days straight wearing it all day long and there has been no dust or moisture accumulation.
I even go to the gym a lot and have done a few runs too - and no issues so far.

Interesting...my case has dust under the screen! I only had it for a week, but besides that I love it! Piece of mind that the whole watch is protected.

Yes - I will not be surprised if I end up with some dust eventually, but the peace of mind from the added protection is worth it.

Will the excess dust trapped under the case’s screen protector potentially scratch the watch screen over time?

I would think as long as you take it off and clean it if it gets bad you should be OK. We will see mine should be getting delivered today then I am going to put it on and try it out!

That has to be pretty comparable to mine! A worry I had about the case was reading that sweat can get trapped under the built in screen protector...well I went for a 10 mile (an hour and 19 minutes) run this morning and of course I was pretty sweaty! No sweat got under the built in screen protector...so far so good! Maybe because I have the Nike sport band with all the holes to make it super breathable and quick drying?

Yes looks so nice! It definitely gives me piece of mind that the whole watch is protected and so far, no issues with getting moisture or sweat under the screen protector!

    I say no:
First, it doesn't appear that scratches could occur as the cover fits so tightly that there is no movement in any way.
Second, I will take it off and clean it every week or so just to make sure dust or crud does not build up.
