I just got my iPhone 13 pro max in gold and I’m looking for a good protective case. Does anyone have any suggestions for one that will help protect against drops but won’t make the phone bulky? I like the look of the silicone case but I worry about the drop protection. What is everyone else using?

Unlike the thick boys suggested above, this UNIQ iPhone case does wonders AND supports MagSafe.
UNIQ iPhone 13 Pro Max MagSafe Silicon case

Apple cases are nice and slim…….and better than most 3rd party cases in terms of drop protection!!

See this link: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/50-feet-drop-test-for-cases-guess-which-survive.2295941/

Look at ALL the videos in that link that i posted. NOTHING, and i mean nothing, comes close to Apple cases in terms of slimness and protection in one package.

Otterbox makes indestructible -- or at least as indestructible as practically possible -- cases. Pretty bulky though so it may not work for you.

The only protective one is the ORIGINAL Defender, the 3 layer one with no Magsafe.

The rest of Otterboxes are NOT that protective. Basically, none of them have any credible protection for the back glass, which is the most vulnerable part of the iPhone.

See my friend’s experience: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/otterbox-defender-xt-pro-is-trash.2295937/
