ProtectMac Antivirus?

Hi

I found a finder window open earlier with a volume for ProtectMac Antivirus, but now I found that it was installed?? How did this happen? I didn't download anything lately.

Is ProtectMac Antivirus a scam??

Yeah I realize that. You obviously didn't pay attention to what I said.

I share a computer but they wouldn't install an antivirus because they know there's no viruses on mac. I just found this installed already.

I don't think it is a scam as such, but certainly not needed on your Mac

I would check with the ones you share the computer with to see what activity they have had
