Protocols do not have file extensions. In fact they don't have files either. They are just a set list of commands basically that establish a connection between a host and a client. They use streams to transmit information.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I meant protocols in Obj-C. (@protocol)

I made them .h and they seem to work.
