My first iOS device was an iPod Touch. First generation with just 8GB storage. (Less than my iPod 3G which had 20GB).

Who remembers Super Monkey Ball!?! It was my first ever purchase on the app store!

Talking of which; Has anyone ever downloaded their complete history on the app store? You can total up your spending.......(if you are of the faint of heart, do not do this!!!!!!)

I remember being so disappointed that the 5th generation nano got a camera, but the more expensive iPod touch had to wait yet another year.

Still, there's just something about this that doesn't look quite right…

There we go!

You can't do that due to the curvature. You would have to hold that thing weirdly in order to make a straight shot. However you could move that rubber thing down. I thing the rubber thing hides a headphone jack and makes the device waterproof, like those Sony Sports Walkmans of the 80s and 90s ...

The fourth-generation iPod touch featured a 0.7-megapixel rear camera alongside its 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
0.7MP rear and 0.3MP front? LOL. I don’t remember it being that bad. Wow, that was 2010! My first digital camera in 1999 when I was a kid was a similar resolution!
The iPod touch is still a great gift for someone who’s not old enough for a phone yet.
That’s what iPads are for. My kids love theirs and it’s better for art and education anyway.

iPod touch is still a nice gaming/music device... (I mean at least it has a headphone jack)

There's just something about playing a game on such a thin device that feels so good. It's like an advanced GBA...

It amazes me that people are still buying these, and even more amazed that people still listen to mp3 music instead of streaming. You can stream on a touch but I'm guessing most have the touch because they're locked into the old way of iTunes and mp3's. To each his own, just hard to believe. Amazon HD and UHD music is hard to beat.
