Hey,

I'd like to delve into Proust, remembrance of things past... on my iphone.
What is the best way, and hopefully free way, to read it on the iphone?

thanks,
r.

The best way would be pretty much any ebook reader. I just had a quick look, it's available on ibooks for 50p/volume (looks like 2 volumes, so £1 or whatever that is in your currency). It's also available for kindle, but costs slightly more.

Alternatively, if you can download the book from the internet somewhere for free (I'm guessing it's out of copyright), you can load it in via itunes.

Let me know if you spot a free version, I'll give it a try.

[app]Bluefire Reader[/app] - the new standard for ebook formats is Adobe ePub, so you'll have back ups online longer than other ebook formats. The app is free, the downsides being it takes longer to load up, and you can't just tap the app icon and get to where you where last reading, you've first got to go to your library and then you can tap 'Now Reading'.
