Hi! ... I'm about to enter to college, i'm interested in architecture... and wanted to get one of the 15" powerbooks, but they are a bit expensive... the discount makes things so much easier... but the problem is, that i do not live in States... i live in Mexico, so I'm tempted to try anyway through the education store, and get it shipped somewhere in States, (a friend's house, or relative's) thinking i will not be checked, and if i had to prove me being a student, i would say that i'm a student, just not an american student and that i didn't know, but I don't know what kind of problems might this cause me. And I'm even more tempted because i found a link, through a university of design in Ohio, that offers a Mac bundle at a very low price, a Powerbook 15" SuperDrive 1.67GHz PowerPC G4 with 128MB Graphics Memory (instead of 64mb) with software (iWork, and Macromedia Studio MX) plus the AppleCare Protection Plan; all this for even less (-$20) than the regular price of a powerbook15" SuperDrive, nice, i know. This link doesn't have any conditions, but because it's special, and because it's saving you about $400, i'm thinking that the chances of getting checked will be much higher than if i just purchase the notebook, with 10% student discount. What do you think I should or could do?
