I use Xcode 7 and non-paid account which allows me to run my apps on my personal device. I've been having the non-stop nag screen come up for quite a while telling me when it expires.

It just expired yesterday and so I had to go thru the process of making a new one. Now the new one expires in 4 days. What's the deal with this setup, you have to renew the provisioning every 5 days and get nagged every day?

I thought they were supposed to last something like 3 months.

Ok, looks like Apple changed things.

free provisioning' profiles are now valid for one week only, after which time you will need to create a new one.
