Proximity sensor still an issue at iOS 4.1...

So, my iPhone 4 occasionally had issues at 4.0, but not to the degree it now has at 4.1. I put the phone to my ear, and I can see in a mirror that the screen is flashing on and off, causing all kinds of issues.

Is there any way to address this, or do I just take it to the Apple Store? I hate to give up my baseband version, you see...

My wife's iPhone 4 4.1 has no such issues as mine does. I did a full restore tonight to no avail.

I have the same issue. I was trying to wait for a software update but I am about to give up. Issue is so annoying.

yep still an issue
