iPad Proxy on 3G

Hi
How can I use HTTP or HTTPS proxy in iOS 6. I've seen that it is possible to configure a proxy with the WLAN settings in the iPad. but I am wondering whether it is also possible to have proxy for mobile data connection.😕
My proxy also needs username and password for login.
 
Unfortunately, the only way to do so is to set up a virtual private network on a computer that is connected to a proxy, then log in to that VPN on your iPad.
