PROXY Server with Iphone on apple tv can't play

I have a issue with my apple tv.I have a Iphone and a Ipad and the newest apple tv.When I use a proxy server on my iphone or Ipad I can watch the BBC Iplayer the same with my Ipad.The issue that I have is When I try to use Airplay to put in on my tv I get a error has occurred.When I go back to just the Iphone or Ipad it works.Does anybody know how to get this to work?
