PS Remote Play on new Mac Mini M1

I'm on the M1 MBA not the Mac mini but I was able to get it working by finding the download for the application from the Sony website itself since it isn't available on the App Store for either Mac or iOS. It installed fine and ran flawlessly. Here is the page I got the download from. https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/en/ps5_mac.html
The same thing happened to me with remote play on my windows pc, so I didn't even try on my MacBook. However the ps4 DualShock 4 controller connects and works flawlessly over bluetooth, which I have tested on my MBA.
Thanks. Hopefully they can fix this. Not sure why it won’t work with ps5 controller when the Mac even thinks it’s a ps4 DualShock
Right now with my M1 MBP 2020 on macOS Monterey 12.1 using the official Application from the link I listed, the application still does not support Apple Silicon as it asks me to install Rosetta 2
Well since we're necroing this thread, I'd recommend instead of remote play, you use a Genki Shadowcast so you can just play your PS5 games on your Mac via a window. No streaming lag to worry about. https://www.genkithings.com/products/shadowcast?variant=32662491889738
I used one with my M1 Mac Mini to play Playstation games on my Mac and it's so much better than using remote play. You can even use the Shadowcast as a capture card if you wanted.
