Hi. About a month ago my PS3 decided it didn't want to read disks anymore. So i sent it over to Sony, and now it is back (yay!).

I backed up the HDD to an USB drive before sending it over. But, for some reason, when restoring the disk contents all my demos, downloadable games, themes, and one account were missing (only the pics, movies, and saves were there).
During the restore, the PS said something about a different system, to which i replied "whatever just get my PS back to what it used to be".

Any thoughts on why my demos/DL'able games aren't there? Any thoughts on how i can get them back?

Thanks

Just Re-download them, you always get this problem.

You only get this problem if you setup the new PS3 with a different account name than the old PS3.

Just make the PS3 account name the same as what it was before, then re do the restore and the games and demos will be there. I've never had a issue with a restore and I've done atleast 3 of them.

Yep Ed's spot on there. I have two PS3's and as long as I am signed into them with the same account name and such I can download anything I have purchased on either console.
