Can anyone recommend a program to convert videos (all sorts) to the codecs that the PS3 supports?

Ideallly one with a batch mode and multiple cpu support.

thanks heaps

A nice one for Mac is iSquint. Its free and generates files (mpeg 4/H.264) that can be played on Apple TV, ipod, PS3 and with its new update, the xbox 360. Infact you only need 1 file to play on all 4 now. I does allow queuing and im sure it uses multiple processors. Either way, its fast.

iSquint, the free version of VisualHub, is really your best bet. I fully recommend paying for VisualHub, the program is incredible. The only thing it can't convert is mkv files with 5.1 surround.
