This is a bummer.... but, I'm glad to know! Used to get a lot of points by buying Apple products... Oh well...

I think 2020 will be the year that I finally lose my Elite Pro status for the first time in forever.

Although, I may be better off anyway not getting the 6% on my BB card and just using my Costco Citi card at BB since they give a free 2nd year warranty coverage. Or just by my next MacBook at Costco directly....depends whichever has the better deal.

Yea... this really sucks... I bought about $5000 in new Apple stuff thru BB in the last month. It shows points pending but when you look further it says - apple exclusions 0 Points awarded. Glad I caught this post.

I love going my local Best Buy and bring tons of friends and customers to the store.
Having this taken away feels like a huge slap to the face for being loyal to them.

Do you still get points on Best Buy store gift card purchases? That used to be the case a couple of years ago. If so that seems like an easy work around. Buy a store gift card for the amount of your purchase, then buy the Apple product.

This rewards program is a joke. 250 points for a $5 coupon. I bought a $2500 TV with BB credit card and was told rewards points not available due to using the card even though at the store I was assured it would count. Then i bought a Mac Book Air and an iPad Mini and am told Apple products don't count unless you use the BB credit card...wait what? That is about $4K worth of missing points...still only $80 in store credit but still. Programs like this are called loyalty programs for a reason. They are designed to build loyalty to your brand. For a mere $80 in store credit (with my $4K worth of purchases), they would have achieved that goal. Now they come across as cheap, uncaring about me as a customer and more of a "Did you read the small print" type of company. You can get the same Apple products at Target, Walmart and of course Amazon. So much for driving the extra few miles for points.

The only reason I still like BB is that I can go and look at a product that Im interested in. Which is generally for a new tv ever few years.

You obviously chose to finance the TV and Apple products with 0% promotional financing via the Best Buy credit card. When you choose this option, you are not given any rewards points. If you would have chose standard financing, you would have received 5% back on all purchases, including Apple products. Sounds like you just don't understand how the rewards program and credit card work.

It looks like Apple products now qualify again?
