No issues in getting both OSs encrypted on both a nMP and rMBP

Clean installs of both El Capitan and Windows 10 n fully updated/patched both sides then ran FV first then bitlocker

I don't know. Maybe BootCamp has compatibility issue with bitlocker.

I want to use this configuration but I need both system files can be read and written freely, no matter which system I use.

Bitlocker was probably continuing to encrypt the drive. There's two options with bit locker one to encrypt used space and the other to encrypt everything. Perhaps you selected the slower installation method.

You're correct, it was late and likely overlooked that in my rush to get started. Rolled out on other machines today with no issue.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm hoping someone has some info. I created my Bootcamp partition and installed Windows 10. Bitlocker won't let me install - something about TPM configuration that I can't change. Some googling suggests that Bitlocker and Bootcamp are not compatible.

Other thoughts?

Thanks.

BootCamp cannot read encrypted Bitlocker partition and startup information(maybe). And thus it is not possible to support bitlocker on bootcamp.
My guess.

I found a workaround by disabling TPM. Then Bitlocker installed fine.
Windows 10 / El Capitan / MId-2015 MBP - no need to add or change any partitions. It just worked.
