Magazine's very long time to print and heavy ads (like every other page) make it obsolete compared to nearly instantaneous ad-free YouTube. Haven't touched a magazine in almost a decade. YouTube is the future.
I'm probably missing something here... how can a video publisher supplant what the public is seeking from a text publisher?
In my experience, aside from a few very skilled and well-known commentators, Youtube vids invariably involve clickbait titles and thumbnails, use incredibly pranging stock music, and offer no usable knowledge. Many of them are simply compilations of segments of other videos, which are sourced from other videos, and so on.
I feel that for on-demand music videos, Youtube is king, but for everything else its a huge disaster.
