PSA: returning and rebuying is better than exchanging

I just want to let others know about issue another forum member here had. They bought an iPhone x with a yellow screen tint. He had exchanged it once. He got the same yellow screen. He wanted to do another exchange but Apple refused because in their opinion there was no problem.

He then asked to return it and was denied because he had done one exchange already.

Imo, it is better to just return it and rebuy. Anyone agree?

Not sure how a return would be denied because an exchange was made? Isn't the device still within the return period?

It shouldn’t. I’d go back or go to a different store. Unless the exchange was a white box.
